Dr. Duncan Stacey has joined Photonic Science and Engineering as their New Business Development Manager

Photonic Science is delighted to announce that Dr. Duncan Stacey has joined as their Business Development Manager, also working closely with other Tibidabo Scientific Industries businesses including Photek Ltd and Lambert Instruments.

Duncan gained his PhD in 1993 from Liverpool University developing hardware and software for spectral micro-imaging techniques. He has an accomplished track record in the development of new markets and strategic partners and brings a depth of technical and commercial experience to Photonic Science having worked for some of the leading photonics companies in the imaging, spectroscopy and microscopy field, including Hamamatsu Photonics, Renishaw, Andor Technologies, Leica and most recently with Linkam Scientific as their Sales and Marketing Director. Duncan also has strong background in product development having had key involvement in the development and bringing to market of a number of highly successful products.
Outside work Duncan spends a lot of time on the seemingly never-ending renovation of an old property and a 50-year-old Volvo P1800 and, when time (and weather) allows, enjoys open water swimming.

Duncan commented “PSEL has always had a reputation for high-quality products, great customer care, and cutting-edge innovation. Having worked for PSEL and the wider Tibidabo group for a few weeks now, it is clear we have a great range of existing and new products. I am really excited to be working as part of the PSEL and Tibidabo teams. It will be a challenge as we are entering new markets and addressing new applications, but that’s part of the fun.”
